Temperatures are going to be flirting with 80 degrees on many days this week, but a strong cold front arrives around Friday and brings a chance of rain followed by much cooler weather.
Last week Middle Tennessee was enjoying warm temperatures in the 80s and sunny days. This week we will make a complete reversal with a chance of showers every day and temperatures cooling down with highs only slightly above 70 on some afternoons.
The weather pattern this week looks just like you would expect for the final days of June and the beginning of July — heat and humidity and chances of scattered thunderstorms every afternoon.
This is going to be a mild weather week across Middle Tennessee with high temperatures from the upper 40s to low 50s and you sure can’t beat that at this time of year.
We have a chance of rain showers scattered around Middle Tennessee on Tuesday through Thursday this week with high temperatures warming to between 50 and 55 degrees.
After the round of winter weather and Arctic air that Middle Tennessee experienced for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a likely warming trend will take our high temperatures into the upper 50s by Wednesday afternoon.
