“Do not be of a doubtful mind.” (Luke 12:29)
We are not dealt a good hand nor are we dealt a bad hand, we simply are dealt a hand and what we do with it is up to us.
God in His infinite wisdom and sovereignty knows exactly what we need. If He cares for the sparrow and affords it a nest in the trees, will He leave His own children to wander in the streets? Will He, who knows our every thought, stand aloof from our sorrows?
The Almighty God who spoke the universe into existence will speak peace into our situation. I am persuaded that we sell short both the power and the willingness of God to act on our behalf. If an unjust judge can grant a widow woman her request because of her importunity, will not Christ grant our request?
When Christ shall come in the glory of His Father with His holy angels, all our trials and tribulations will be past. Until then, we play the hand we are given and count it all joy.
We know, the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall soon be revealed in us.
Things have a way of working out. Never underestimate the power of prayer, faith and love. Above all, never underestimate the power of God to see you through!
“We know all things work together for the good to those who love God and are called according to His purposes.” (Romans 8:28)
