KINGSTON SPRINGS – Harpeth lost to Nashville Christian last week in the Indians first preseason scrimmage of the year after the other scrimmages were rained out. Nashville Christian defeated Harpeth 5-3, although, Kyler Hartley scored all three goals for Harpeth. 

    The contest was tied at two goals apiece at half but soon into the second half Harpeth scored to take a 3-2 lead but Nashville Christian would come back to tie and take the lead.

    Senior Jackson Smith is still out due to a leg injury last season but seniors Grant Patterson, Easton Watts and Chris McCoy all played and played well.

    The Harpeth Indians will get the regular season started next Tuesday night as they travel to Montgomery Central.
