Both the Father Ryan boys and girls teams defeated Harpeth on Friday night. 

Harpeth lost the boys game 61-41 while the girls game ended with a 53-28 final.

For the boys, Harpeth’s Logan Johnston led the team with seven points, while freshman Ava Cathey led Harpeth’s Lady Indians team with seven, as well.

Harpeth’s boys stayed close with Father Ryan throughout the first half as they trailed by three points heading into halftime. In the third period, Father Ryan built a double-digit lead and pulled away for the win.

On the girls side, Harpeth took an early lead, but once Father Ryan settled down, the defense took over. By half, Father Ryan built a 31-12 lead, and from there on out, Harpeth couldn’t get back into the game.
