Darrell Leland Clark, age 37 of Kingston Springs, TN died tragically on July 31, 2020. He was a sheet metal worker with the sheet metal workers local 177 and was currently working for John W. McDougall Co., an industrial and architectural metal contractor.
Darrell was a happy-go-lucky, hardworking, big hearted man with an even bigger smile. He would offer to help anyone in need and was often known as the “family mechanic”. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and motorcycles. Darrell most loved being a father and was so proud of his beautiful daughter.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Ethel Marie Herd Clement; step-grandfather Philip Clement; and uncle Steve “Fox” Cunningham.
Darrell is survived by his daughter Kennedy Clark; father Kem Clark (Dawn Thomason), mother Cathy Clark; sister Amanda “Nina” (Marc) DeWeese; grandparents, Kenneth and Mable Clark (“2 pop and 2 mom”), and Vaughn Ray Cunningham; nieces, Destiny DeWeese, and Jaylee DeWeese. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, at 1 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Burton officiating. Place of rest will be in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, from 2 until 8 PM and on Thursday from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM.
For those desiring, memorials may be directed to the “Memorial Fund for Darrell Clark” at Reliant Bank for the benefit of Darrell’s daughter, Kennedy Clark. Memorials for that fund can be accepted at the Taylor Funeral Home.
