Pierce sets three drive-in comedy shows

Middle Tennessee resident Chonda Pierce, who grew up in Ashland City, has announced live comedy shows at three Middle Tennessee drive-in theaters.

Pierce, a stand-up comedian, television hostess, author and actress, is scheduled to perform at the Hi Way 50 Drive-In in Lewisburg on Wednesday, Oct. 28; the Stardust Drive-In at Watertown on Thursday, Oct. 29; and the Birdsong Drive-In at Camden on Thursday, Nov. 5.

Gates open at 5 p.m. for each show, which begin at dusk.

Tickets are sold per car (maximum of six occupants, including kids). Tickets are $175 (Gold tickets, closest to stage and screen) and $100 (general admission). Tickets are available at www.driveintheatertour.com www.awakeningevents.com.

Guests may bring lawn chairs and watch the show from outside of their vehicle. No tailgating activities will be allowed.

Pierce began her stage career at Opryland Theme Park in Nashville where she performed as “Grand Ole Opry” star Minnie Pearl. She has received five Daytime Emmy nominations and three of her DVDs have been certified platinum, signifying sales of more than 100,000 units.
