Adoration Home Health and Hospice, whose main office is in Madison plans to open an office in Kingston Springs on Friday, Oct. 1 that will serve Cheatham and Dickson counties.
Hospice care consultant Shannon Stewart said the company has had a presence in Cheatham County for four years, but requests for its services prompted the company to look for a place for a local office.
The office location is 101 W. Kingston Springs Highway in Kingston Springs. The building is the former home of Reliant Bank.
“Both counties are more rural, and people want something here with a hometown feel, something that offers them a more personalized relationship,” Stewart said.
Stewart said burnout among hospice nurses is a big problem, and so Adoration separates the duties among on-call nurses, case managers and admission nurses. Many other hospice agencies have one nurse filling those roles.
Stewart said the company will have a vendor booth at the Senior Day event on Wednesday, Sept. 22 at The Senior City at Ashland City.
“I hear a lot that our team is easy to reach and it’s quick to get a hold of our people. I tear up hearing the stories just because our team goes above and beyond. I feel that God took a bunch of puzzle pieces and put us all together,” Stewart said.
