Stonebridge Books on Main Street in Ashland City played host to live music with a mix of performers from age seven to 70 recently.

The kids kicked off the event with several young ladies performing a variety of songs by Christian artist Lauren Daigle as well as a fun rendition of “Let It Go” from the 2013 award-winning animated film “Frozen.”

Also performing was Christian singer-songwriter, Lanier Ferguson, who wrote the first song released by Christian pop star Amy Grant called “Beautiful Music.”

Other artists to cover his songs include Christian artist Larnelle Harris and country rock and gospel crossover artist B.J. Thomas.

Ferguson’s vocals and inspired touch at the keyboard provided a moving, spirit of praise and worship.

Host-technician Bill Douglas entertained as well, along with Robert Strange who was accompanied by Lynn Ray.

Stonebridge owner Joann Ray said that similar musical events would be held on the third Saturday night of each month at 7 p.m.
