The Cheatham County Democratic Party will have its next meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. in the Denney Room (second floor) of the Pinnacle Bank, 524 South Main St. in Ashland City. The meeting will focus on voter registration for the primary on March 3 and planning for the county convention on March 7. Wings of Hope will meet Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at the Ashland City Senior Center, 104 Ruth Dr. Bring either soup or sandwiches for our luncheon. Any woman who has lost the protection or provision of her husband through death, divorce, desertion or imprisonment is invited. For information, call (615) 792-3629.

 

Cheatham County Coalition meetings will be held Jan. 27, Feb. 24, March 23, April 27, June 22, July 27, Aug. 24, Sept. 28, Oct. 26 and Nov. 23 from 6-7 p.m. at the David McCullough Community Room, 334 Frey St. in Ashland City. Free Food Boxes will be available on the first Thursday of each month from 11 a.m.-noon at Mt. Hebron Community Church, 2070 Mosely Ferry Rd. in Chapmansboro.

 

The Cheatham County Historical and Genealogical Association meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Cheatham County Public Library, 188 John E. Mayfield Dr. in Ashland City. Presentations are given during the April, July and October meetings. Anyone interested in the history of the area is welcome to attend.
