The Cheatham County Democratic Party will have its next meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. in the Denney Room (second floor) of the Pinnacle Bank, 524 South Main St. in Ashland City. Wings of Hope will meet Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at the Ashland City Senior Center, 104 Ruth Dr. Bring either soup or sandwiches for our luncheon. Free Food Boxes will be available on the first Thursday of each month from 11 a.m.-noon at Mt. Hebron Community Church, 2070 Mosely Ferry Rd. in Chapmansboro.


The Cheatham County Historical and Genealogical Association meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Cheatham County Public Library, 188 John E. Mayfield Dr. in Ashland City.
