A Virtual Fun Fair hosted by the UT/TSU Cheatham County Extension Office will allow Cheatham County residents and participants in Cheatham County Extension programming the opportunity to showcase some of the items they have made or grown over the past year. Colby’s Army Third Annual Pasture Putt Putt Golf and Games will be held Aug. 29-30 from 4-8 p.m. each day at the learning center facility at 1394 George Boyd Rd. in Ashland City. Lawn games such as croquet, lawn bowling and corn hole will be available to play, as well as food for purchase and facility tours. TN Achieves is recruiting volunteer mentors to provide a local support system to every TN Promise applicant in the Class of 2021. Mentors work with a small group of three to seven students as they transition from high school to college. Mentors complete a training course in person or online.
