Food Insecurity Forum hosted by the Cheatham County Democrats will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Pegram Community Club, 453 Thompson Rd. in Pegram just off Highway 70. Questions of who may be going hungry in Cheatham County, and what can be done to address the problem, will be the subject of the non-partisan, public forum. Dining with Diabetes classes hosted by the Cheatham County Extension Office will be offered for three weeks beginning Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. at the Unity Covenant Church, 99 Brookhollow Dr. in Ashland City. The Booby Bolt 5K and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run supporting Pink Out For Hope are now registering participants. It will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 at 8 a.m. at Balthrop Park, 2622 Church St. in Pleasant View. Fun Run fee is $15 per child for 12 years or younger. Booby Bolt fee is $30 per runner ($40 per runner on race day at 7:30 a.m.). There is also a Survivor Recognition Walk.
