UT/TSU Extension’s Canning College will be held Thursday, June 20 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The program will be conducted by Aneta Eichler, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent for UT/TSU Extension in Cheatham County. A Diabetes Management support group is being started by the Cheatham County Extension Office. It will meet the first Monday of each month at 4 p.m. at the Senior Center of Ashland City, 104 Ruth Dr. The first meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 1 and will focus on 4th of July celebrations. The 41st Annual Harrison & Della Perry Family Reunion will be held Saturday, July 27 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church, 2025 Blue Springs Rd. in Ashland City. Bring a covered dish for dinner, which begins at 5 p.m.


Free Food Boxes will be available on the first Thursday of each month from 11 a.m.-noon at Mt. Hebron Community Church, 2070 Mosely Ferry Rd. in Chapmansboro.

The Cheatham County Historical and Genealogical Association meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Cheatham County Public Library, 188 John E. Mayfield Dr. in Ashland City.
