Businesses encouraged to "Paint The Town Pink," help breast cancer fight

The Pink Out For Hope committee encourages local businesses to help “Paint The Town Pink” during October by decorating their storefront for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Businesses in Ashland City, Joelton, Kingston Springs, Pegram and Pleasant View can participate and compete for the seventh annual “Paint The Town Pink” traveling trophy to be awarded in each area. All outside decorations must be in place by Oct. 1, to be judged. Winners in each area will be announced live on the Pink Out For Hope Facebook page on Oct. 19. Judges will consider originality in decorating, use of a theme or breast cancer message, and the best use of the color pink and storefront space. For more information and to confirm your participation in the contest complete the registration form at Pinkoutforhope.org/Event/Paint-The-Town/.
